Mexico City's Jadir Zárate arrives on Jacktone with a 3-track EP titled "Ancient Echoes." Owner and creator of the modular synth company, Hard Mod, the EP showcases Jadir's handmade instruments, as well as his commitment to crafting music that's singular, intricate and timeless.

BIO:
Jadir Zárate is an electronic musician and an electronics engineer who gained notoriety in the DIY synth scene in Mexico City the past 5 years. His musical style represents his surroundings through the use of silence as a main resource and the juxtaposition of states like tension and relaxation, mystery and clarity, darkness and enlightenment. While growing up, he questioned conventional structures in electronic music and thus decided to challenge it by doing experimental and short arrangements in his own work. He's currently based in Mexico City where he continues to build commissioned electronic equipment and pursue a music career. His first full-length album will be released the end of 2017 by Jacktone Records.
