"On Viscous Positions, Boston-based producer Isabella unleashes raw analogue techno with an emphasis on the acidic. There’s plenty of gurgling Roland TB-303 goodness to be had, but each of these tracks also carries a sinister edge that stings in just the right way." - Fact Mag, July 2016
Our 15th release is a 9-track album called "Viscous Positions" from Boston-based, Isabella. A common thread of hardware experimentalism connects each track, as the release moves seamlessly from warehouse techno, classic electro and 303-acid to eerie/spacey leftfield atmospherics.
Tracks like "Cloying Traces" and "Mu/timode" showcase her skill with melody and classic pads, while "Schuld" is driven by a crunchy acid bassline peppered with push/pull percussion and "Cheap Acid Boots" - with its playful vocal sample - is destined for a sweaty dance floor.
"Isabella's bold and fearless productions explore the dark side of bass built techno and jacking 303 modulation"- That's Deck
"Viscous Positions" will be available on cassette/digital June 23rd and followed by a 3-week tour of the states and Canada.
